EC Harris adds three

EC Harris has hired Colin Lord to lead its property team in the Northwest. He was formerly head of building consultancy for the region at King Sturge. The firm has also added Louise Hearn, formerly with Saffron Housing Trust, to its Midlands, Southwest and Wales team as senior consultant. David Tatman joins as senior consultant from Sandwell Homes.

WYG recruits Capita Symonds man

White Young Green has appointed Jonathan Skelton as regional director to lead its management services business in Stevenage. Skelton joins from Capita Symonds where he was director of building surveying.

Amec appoints Broome

Amec has appointed Martin Broome as commercial director of its design and project services division. Broome’s last job was commercial director at Morgan Est. The move is part of Amec’s strategy to boost its project services offering.

Wright to lead DL's green team

Project surveyor Graham Wright has been appointed to head Davis Langdon’s new environmental team at the Birmingham office. He will ensure that all residential units on projects meet the required level of environmental quality. Wright recently qualified as an ECO Homes registered licensed assessor and has been project surveyor at the firm for the past four years.

Transportation Planning makes changes

Consultancy Transportation Planning has recruited Sian Thornthwaite as a director. She joins from Halcrow. Adam Oredecki, the firm’s Leeds regional manager, has been made an associate.

Thomas and Adamson takes on trio

Thomas and Adamson, a QS and PM practice, has taken on three people. Scott Castle joins as project manager in the Edinburgh office, which is managing the city council’s national sports strategy and a data centre for Standard Life. Ian Roberts has been made senior QS in the Glasgow branch while John McGuire joins the Glasgow office as a senior QS.
