Three moves at EC Harris

EC Harris has promoted Jon Metters to area leader of the north west public sector team. His previous role focused on developing public sector work for the firm in Liverpool. Prior to joining EC Harris Metters was an associate director at Mace. He replaces Andy Ritchie, who has left the firm to rejoin Bucknall Austin.

EC Harris recently told QS News it would be stepping up its public sector work with the launch of a new regeneration division later this year.

Philip Ince has rejoined EC Harris as a partner to enhance the firm's growing presence in the highways and transport market with his expertise in the sector. Prior to his appointment Ince was a regional director at Faithful + Gould.

The firm has also hired a country manager for Hungary. Tibot Stahl will take control of the Hungary team from May.

Bucknall Austin hires Victoria Back

Bucknall Austin has hired Victoria Back as sales and marketing manager. She joins from rival Birmingham-based firm DBK Back, which her father David founded. DBK Back was known as Back Group until a management buyout last year led by three directors.

Victoria Back was with the firm for nine years working in Birmingham and London.

Trett takes back Foan

Chris Foan has returned to dispute resolution specialist Trett Consulting after a spell at Hill International last year. He rejoins as regional director of the North West and company planning director. He was previously with Trett for over 10 years.
