One small step for T&T
Turner & Townsend has appointed Brian Harrison as a director of management consultancy for the Northwest. He will focus on developing consultancy and client management in business transformation and organisational change programmes. Previously from Vertex Data Science (a division of United Utilities), Harrison has spent 27 years in project and programme management and has been involved in North Sea oil installations and the International Space Station Programme.
EC Harris hires Scanlan
EC Harris in Hong Kong has hired Paul Scanlan as senior project manager. Previously director of projects for Wilson & Associates in Singapore, he will support the firm's existing hotel sector clients in project and design management and improve relationships with other hotel, retail developers and operators.
MDA adds associate
MDA has appointed Mark Birmingham as an associate in its M&E design and cost consultancy division. He will be based at the firm's Croydon headquarters.
F+G boosts uni ties
Faithful+Gould's Geoff Butters, head of building surveying at the firm's Leeds office, has been appointed external examiner in building surveying at Leeds Metropolitan University's School of the Built Environment.
He will ensure the University's BSc in building surveying is taught in line with RICS standards and will sit on examination boards.
He said: "We are keen to strengthen our academic and commercial ties with a thriving university that has a real commitment to the built environment."
Health PM joins Clarus
Clarus consulting has appointed Chris Norman as senior project manager at its Leeds office. Norman, who joins from Mott MacDonald, will be responsible for developing business within the health sector. He was recently the lead PM for the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, which included the £26m acute services reconfiguration scheme.
