Wakefield and District Housing, which will manage Wakefield council’s 34,000 homes, has named Kevin Dodd as its chief executive. He was the council’s head of housing.

Amarjit Kaur
Amarjit Kaur has been appointed director of Groundswell UK, which supports a national network of self-help groups for homeless and excluded people. Kaur used to be director of the Royal Courts of Justice Advice Bureau.

Lorraine Miles
Lorraine Miles has been hired as head of communications at local democracy think tank Local Government Information Unit. In her last job she was a communication manager for Westminster council.
