Rod Bennion, formerly chief operating officer of the Wates Group, has joined Opps Consulting as an Associate Director. He will focus on strategic consultancy services to the construction industry, complementing the Opps Consulting Strategy Practice.
Cost and project management consultancy AYH has promoted Peter Vince, its Birmingham head, to UK managing director. Vince takes over the MD role from David Thompson who remains as chairman.
Jon Gay has joined TPS Consult as an architect in order to strengthen the team in the Edinburgh office. He is responsible for the design of various redevelopment projects for key clients such as the Scottish Prison Service.
Construction consultant Davis Langdon & Everest has appointed Colin Clement (pictured) who joins as partner to head up its project management capability in the region.
Monk Dunstone Associates (MDA) has appointed Stephen Woodward as director to lead its new Specialist Services Division, which will provide clients with strategic development advice. Stephen joins MDA from Symonds Group where he was the director of Contract Solutions.
Mace Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Parker as marketing director. Parker has a remit for national and international marketing and business development.
Tony Burge (pictured) has joined the Building Safety Group as regional advisor to the Hampshire area to help support the regions building and construction industry in meeting the demands of H&S legislation.
Parting company
Edward Cowan, chief executive of the NFRC since early 1995, will be leaving the Federation in April 2004. The president of the NFRC, Peter Rogerson, will also be stepping down after his two years in post at the NFRC’s National AGM. He, together with Edward Cowan, will be giving a full report on the NFRC’s progress, represented in part by its continued membership expansion.
