The Chartered Institute of Building has made Roger Flanagan, professor of construction management at Reading University its 103rd president. Flanagan is also a member of Skanska’s board of directors and a non-executive member of engineer Halcrow’s board of directors.
Leading construction lawyer and Building columnist Ann Minogue has been appointed president of the British Council for Offices for the next year. Gordon becomes senior president.
