Fischer fixings, construction fixings manufacturer, has teamed up with two market leaders in the glazing industry to offer an innovative fixing solution for interior and exterior bespoke glazing.
The new system, called AncorVetro is based on fischer’s FZP-G undercut glass anchor. Developed by fischer’s department for ACT (Advanced Curtain Walling Technique) the FZP-G draws on fischer’s expertise in the design of Zykon undercut anchors, a concept which the company originally invented for fixing into concrete. The fixing is anchored into an undercut hole within the body of the glass, and does not go all the way through.
fischer’s partners in the AncorVetro project are European Toughened Glass and Komfort Workspace. European Glass Group, independent glass suppliers and processors, has three major manufacturing locations in London and Manchester.
