A new addition to the Seaward range of advanced portable appliance testers (PATs) is the PrimeTest 350, which links Seaward testers with accessories.

The lightweight, battery-powered tester incorporates a range of new features to ensure that testing is carried out in accordance with the latest IEE Code of Practice for Portable Appliance Testing.

These include residual-current device and alternative leakage tests, and an additional 250 V insulation test for use when suppressors of components prevent a conventional 500 V test.
