Officers responsible for security at diplomatic premises across the UK are to benefit from an ADT-sponsored Security Liaison Vehicle – in the shape of a new Vauxhall Astra – over the next two years.

The Security Liaison Unit, part of the Metropolitan Police Service’s Diplomatic Protection Group (DPG), provides counter-terrorism and security advice to many Embassies and High Commissions, etc.

The car allows the Unit’s five members to carry out their work more efficiently without impacting on the existing fleet.
