The elective care centre at Addenbrooke Hospital in Cambridge is the first PFI project with a new NHS Foundation Trust to reach financial close.

Haden Young Midlands and Southern Region is undertaking the £27 million m&e design, installation and commissioning contract, which will include facilities for surgery, endoscopy, genetics and diabetes. Alfred McAlpine is the other joint venture partner in the £75 million scheme.
