Written by former ACE chief executive Hugh Woodrow, the book describes the Association's story from its early beginnings in the 1900s, through the inter-war years to its current position as a business association for engineering and consultancy companies.

ACE communications director, Andy Walker says of the book: "In a period that has seen two world wars and significant political and social change, it is no surprise that the challenge of change and how ACE and its members have adapted to it is a recurring theme in the book."
