ABS wins £2.75m KPMG mechanical contract

Mechanical and electrical contractor ABS London has scooped a £2.75m project with main contractor Como Group to install the mechanical services in a new office development for professional services company KMPG in Birmingham.

KMPG has commissioned a new 118.403 sq ft office space in the heart of Birmingham’s financial district. The project works, which commenced in March and will complete in September 2009, include four-pipe fan coil units, BMS controls, ventilation, public health and sprinkler installation.

ABS has secured this latest partnership contract with the Como Group after successfully working together on projects such as the recently completed head quarters for the British fashion house Burberry in London’s Westminster district, and Eyot Gardens - a 28 000 sq ft high quality office renovation close by to the River Thames in Hammersmith, London.
