Dätwyler Cables has extended its range of Class FA systems with the twisted-pair Uninet 7120 data cable.

The thin PiMF cable meets all Category 7A (augmented) requirements.

The Uninet 7120 has a copper wire diameter of 0.58 mm, corresponding to AWG 23. In combination with high-performance connectors, these economical, high-speed cables can be used for up to 1000 MHz, thus enabling them to transmit applications such as 10Gbase-T (10 gigabit ethernet).

The data cable has a FRNC/LSOH sheath, is 7.4 mm thick and weighs 63 kg/km, with a copper count of 32.3 kg per km. At a frequency of 1000 MHz, its attenuation is less than 60 decibels and the Next value (near-end crosstalk) is 90 dB.
