aaeco-excellent: This affordable housing scheme for Tower Hamlets council has been judged “excellent” rating under the EcoHomes environmental ratings system. The 50-home development in Denmark Place includes 38 affordable rented homes and 12 shared ownership units, and is one of only 10 schemes in the country to win this rating. The Toynbee Housing Association scheme, designed by Stock Woolstencroft with contractor Galliford Try, won the award for its innovative use of energy-saving technology and quality design.
