3.50PM Firm celebrates completing £4.4m college project

AA Projects has completed work on a new building for Liverpool Community College, which was opened today by Alan Johnson, secretary for education and skills.

The £4.4m, 2,200 m2 building on Mulberry Street took 13 months to build. AA Projects was the scheme's project manager, QS, building surveyor and health & safety adviser.

AA Projects have a seven-year affiliation with Liverpool Community College and have completed eight new build and refurbishment projects for the College, with a total development value of £52 million.

The new building on Mulberry Street is for 14-19 year olds studying business and healthcare courses. It includes a multi-sensory room for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
