Evergreen Door has introduced a new improved Secured by Design (SBD) steel door leaf, which it claims is the strongest product of its type on the market. The leaf exceeds each SBD compliance requirement by as much as 40 per cent.

‘We sincerely believe that this is the strongest SBD door leaf available,’ states Managing Director Jim Brown.

‘We tried to carry out some of the tests to destruction to see just how strong the door was – but the testing machines gave out before the leaf did.’

These impressive results have been achieved by substituting the current lockside rail with a single part unit and increasing the thickness of the steel skin by 27%.
