Using techniques reminiscent of bikini-line waxing, workers refurbishing the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow peel off a layer of latex, and with it, generations of accumulated grime. HBG decided on the technique to avoid using gallons of water and chemicals in cleaning the interior of the city’s famous landmark. It’s easy. Just spray on the latex, let it cure for 24 hours, and peel it off.
