I was delighted to read your article on Rosemary Tinker and WiP (Feature, QS News, 7 April).

We at The National Association of Women in Construction echo these comments, in an industry already suffering a skills shortage. With only 10% employment of women we cannot deny we must still be doing something wrong.

Through education, development and information we can start to make some real progress and attract more women into the industry, but we must ensure that issues such as pay differentials are eradicated.

I would be delighted to receive any comments your readers may have or, even better, offers of looking at how these matters can be redressed.
