'We're delighted with the response to the conference and have come back with many significant new business leads. However, the real success is the relationships we have cemented over the course of the three days', said Sally Fielding, the Managing Director of K2.
Among the major launches at the conference was the Approved Installer Scheme, which is backed by the Federation of Master builders. The Scheme will be operational from 1st May and members will have access to a range of marketing support from K2 and business services from FMB, along with listings on the websites of both organisations.
The conference was also used as the stage to display K2's newest product innovations, including the new Aspire 35mm System, which will be available on a limited basis to K2 customers specialising in the high end conservatory market. The enhancements to the existing range included a host of time-saving innovations aimed at helping both fabricators and installers increase their output.
K2 also used the conference to wine and dine guests and to talk them through the company's expansion plans, service levels and new product development programmes. Guests had an opportunity to speak one-to-one with senior directors and members of K2's technical teams, as well as view new products and initiatives.
One lucky dealer, Mr Tony Wiggins of Phoenix Door Panels Ltd, came away from the conference with a little something extra; he was the winner of the Lotus Elise given away by K2 in a free prize draw.
