The ADT Champion Racing team was also successful at Le Mans, taking out first place in its class in the Audi R8 sportscar driven by JJ Lehto, Marco Werner and Tom Kristensen.

The winning car was the star attraction at an event hosted at ADT's head office in Sunbury-on-Thames. To cap an exceptional weekend for the team, its other car, driven by Emanuele Pirro, Frank Biela and Allan McNish, finished in third place, meaning that both Team ADT Champion Racing cars appeared on the podium. Alex McNutt, MD of ADT Europe, presented Kaye Wilson, the racing team's manager, with a large bottle of champagne to acknowledge the result.

“To have both cars on the podium is an outstanding performance from the team,” McNutt said. “The winning car completed 370 laps and 5,050km over the 24 hours, which is phenomenal. ADT is proud to be supporting Team ADT Champion Racing and we congratulate the team on their performance.”
