"Hard labour" was the best article I've seen in CM for a long time and it made me feel very angry.

Any CIOB member involved with something like that should be expelled from the institute.

What's more, any CIOB member who is aware of it happening and does nothing about it should equally be expelled from the institute.

There is no place in the CIOB for anyone who takes advantage of someone because they are vulnerable, nor for anyone who tolerates somebody else doing it.

Would the captains of industry down here turn a blind eye to it happening on one of their sites? I know most of them and there are some hard cookies among them, but I can't think of one who would turn a blind eye to that sort of exploitation.

Well done CM, if you are accused of being naive, then we need more naive people in this world.
