Angel Court in the Square Mile achieves practical completion
Developers Mitsui Fudosan UK and Stanhope have achieved practical completion of the revamp of the City of London’s 1970s tower Angel Court.
The 24-storey tower designed by Fletcher Priest Architects and built by Mace has created 300,000 sq ft of commercial and retail space.
Mace’s fit-out arm Como was chosen last summer to carry out the fit out.
David Camp, chief executive of Stanhope, said: “We are delighted to have completed this landmark building -the first City tower to complete in 2017 – which is a real reflection of the commitment of both Mitsui Fudosan and ourselves to the London office market.”
The wider project team on the scheme includes Waterman Group acting as multidiscipline engineering consultants and QS Alinea.
