Social housing firm Keepmoat has bought Milnerbuild, a Leeds-based specialist with a £10m turnover
Milnerbuild specialises in social housing repair and maintenance in the north-east of England, and employs a total of 120 workers in its Leeds and Darlington offices.
The firm works on about 15,000 properties a year for clients such as Bradford council and housing group Accent.
Keepmoat, which comprises Frank Haslam Milan and Bramall Construction, said the acquisition was part of its “plans for further expansion”. In 2009 it had a turnover of £570m.
Allen Hickling, its director of regeneration, said: “We plan to grow Milnerbuild, and have been impressed by its track record and excellent reputation for delivery in Yorkshire and the North-east.”
